El Fondo Nacional de las Artes convoca al Taller Teórico OBRA - ESTRATEGIA -
CIRCUITO [editorialidad de las artes visuales] para artistas, gestores culturales,
historiadores, críticos, teóricos, estudiantes y toda persona que considere que
puede contribuir a su formación técnica o teórica, al desarrollo y estimulo de las
actividades en el área de las artes visuales que realizan, y a su proyección social.
El seminario se llevará a cabo entre el 19 y 21 de novimebre de 2009 en el Fondo
Nacional de las Artes, Alsina 673 Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y esta a cargo de Jorge
Sepúlveda T., Curador Independiente.
Las inscripciones estan abiertas hasta el 07 de noviembre. Hay 25 cupos y 6 de ellos
incluyen beca de traslado y hospedaje en Buenos Aires (desde sus ciudades de origen
en Argentina).

Call for Applications: The Camargo Foundation Academic and Artistic
Fellowships
The Camargo Foundation welcomes applications from scholars pursuing studies
in the humanities and social sciences relating to French and francophone
cultures and from composers, writers, and visual artists pursuing specific
projects. The interdisciplinary residency program is intended to give
fellows the time and space they need to realise their projects. The
Foundation's hillside campus overlooks the Mediterranean Sea in Cassis,
France; it includes thirteen furnished apartments, a reference library, and
three art/music studios. Fellows are provided with accommodation on campus.
A stipend of $2,500 is also available. Residencies are one semester (either
early-September to mid-December or mid-January to the end of May).
Qualified candidates from all countries and nationalities are encouraged to
apply. The application deadline is January 12 for either semester of the
following academic year.
